HONOLULU, HI – Elite Pacific announced today that the company will donate 5% of revenues from all new Kauai bookings directly to the families of Hanalei, Ha'ena and Wainiha affected by the recent flooding from the storm which struck the island over this weekend and caused widespread damage. Money will be donated through the Hanalei-Haena Flooding Fund started by Kauai native Koral McCarthy.
“Elite Vacation Rentals is proud to support our Kauai ohana. It has been absolutely incredible to witness how quickly Kauai's community came together to help those in need,” said Andreea Grigore, Director of Vacation Rentals.
“Our hearts go out to all those affected by the storm, including our agents and our support staff that call Kauai home. The safety of our guests and Elite ohana is our highest priority,” said Paul Mayer, Managing Partner of Elite Pacific Properties. “The vacation rental team is working with travelers affected by the storm and guests who have travel planned to the affected areas. We hope these contributions will make a difference in the relief efforts underway.”
As clean up and rescue continue over the next weeks, Elite Pacific Properties will maintain information on how others can contribute to the recovery efforts through individual donation and volunteer opportunities through the company blog as well as social media platforms. Vacations can be booked directly on evrhi.com.
