DENVER, CO – Emily Chaney and Keri Duffy, two accomplished real estate professionals with Kentwood Real Estate Cherry Creek, have been appointed co-chairs of the Denver Metro Association of Realtors’ (DMAR) Central District. The Central District supports DMAR’s mission while creating worthwhile change and neighborhood pride. The district provides outstanding local networking, educational opportunities and professional development through district meetings, events, advocacy initiatives and community outreach. Chaney and Duffy will serve one-year terms as co-chairs of DMAR’s Central District.
“Our committee believes that Realtors succeed when they are committed to personal development through education, community involvement and collaboration with one another,” said Chaney. “Keri and I hope to foster these important connections while helping our members stay informed on the latest issues impacting the Central District.”
“We are responsible for organizing educational and social events and have partnered with Mercy Housing to add an element of giving back to the community,” said Duffy. “Mercy Housing is an organization that provides affordable housing and educational resources. We do several drives each year to raise supplies for Mercy’s population as well as hold prize drawings at all of our social events.”
The DMAR is a membership-based organization dedicated to the advancement and protection of the real estate industry. With 7,000 members, DMAR is the largest local Realtor association in Colorado. The association’s mission is to galvanize and inspire a vibrant community of Realtors in pursuit of success.
Chaney’s clients represent all types of home buyers and sellers, such as first-time buyers, move-up and downsizing buyers, empty nesters, luxury property buyers and sellers and investors. She is known for her negotiation skills, market knowledge and trends and developments in the real estate business. Chaney earned her real estate license in 2004 and earned the prestigious Rookie of the Year award for 2014.
Duffy’s knowledge of metro Denver’s neighborhoods is unsurpassed and she is known for her listening and communication skills, quick response to client needs and questions and providing a rewarding real estate experience. She loves helping people get to know Denver and specializes in arranging in-depth personal tours for professionals considering relocating to the Denver area.
