NEWPORT BEACH, CA - Jacqueline Thompson sells custom Spanish-style estate modeled after the craftsmanship of architects Wallace Neff and George Washington Smith in Shady Canyon, Irvine, for $7.9 million. Thompson represented the buyer and seller in the transaction of 64 Canyon Creek, which resulted in a quick close after having multiple offers on the property. Currently, Thompson is the number one agent in Shady Canyon with over $526 million sold to date in the community with over $1 billion in total sales.
64 Canyon Creek, also known as Casa California, was featured as the 2009 Philharmonic House of Design put on by the Philharmonic Orchestra creating an exclusive combination of design and music. Each year a home is chosen to undergo a design transformation by teams of design volunteers who combine their creative skills to produce a beautifully composed masterpiece for people to experience. This event is the key fundraising effort put on by the Philharmonic Orchestra with all proceeds "going to provide the Philharmonic Society's world-class music education experiences free-of-charge to 160,000 K–12 students in Orange County each year."
Situated on a large private lot in Shady Canyon, 64 Canyon Creek features Spanish-colonial architecture and a contemporary rustic design. The peaceful estate is situated next to a nature preserve, providing majestic views of the rolling hillside and gorgeous canyon. Spanning over 10,600 square feet, the relaxed and elegant floor plan encompasses five bedrooms and nine bathrooms including a main-level junior suite, stately library with a bar, and a second-floor master retreat with a private viewing tower that highlights the seamless vistas of the city lights and Pacific Ocean. The subterranean level of the home features a state-of-the-art, director's quality theater, an extensive wine cellar, fitness room with a sauna, full bath with a steam shower and a massage terrace. The sweeping grounds play host to an impressively scaled swimming pool, cabana with a fireplace, outdoor shower and pool bath, outdoor kitchen with a barbeque and a generous open space for lounging or entertaining.
Thompson also sold the highest priced property within the community in April, which is also the highest sales price for the City of Irvine. To date, Thompson’s combined totals in transactions equal over $1 billion. She is currently among the top five agents in all of Orange County in sales volume. While she is known for her sales records for Shady Canyon, Thompson has made sales records along the coast, including Crystal Cove, the Pelican’s, Newport Beach and Laguna Beach.
