SEATTLE, WA USA – Meghan Barry, President of Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate and LuxuryRealEstate.com, and Michael Edlund, VP of Interactive Media at Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate and LuxuryRealEstate.com, have been selected as Judges in the 2017 WebAwards, the longest running annual website award competition dedicated to naming the best websites while setting the standard of excellence for all website development.
Serving as a judge in this respected competition is an honor bestowed to the top leaders throughout 96 different industries. Meghan and Michael’s inclusion demonstrates not only their strong leadership and success as individuals, but also strengthens Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate’s position as a leader in the real estate industry.
Hosted by The Web Marketing Association, the WebAward entries are voted on by a panel of judges from all industry categories. Each website is judged on the following seven criteria on a scale of 0-10 points:
- Design
- Innovation
- Content
- Technology
- Interactivity
- Copywriting
- Ease of use
The highest score in a given category wins Best Website of that industry, then if the remaining entries receive a score of 60 or greater, they receive the Outstanding Website WebAward. Last year, LuxuryRealEstate.com was honored with 2 Best Website WebAwards, for Best Directory or Search Engine and Best Mobile Website.
Since joining Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate in 2002, Meghan has worked in various facets of the business and has led its evolution through several major changes in the real estate industry. As the second consecutive year as a WebAward judge, Meghan will be voting on a variety of websites from different industries, from Architecture to TV.
Michael has been a web developer and project manager for over a dozen websites in England, Germany, Canada, Sweden and the U.S. He has worked for organizations in as various areas including telecommunications, Public Affairs, news publishing, performance art and real estate. Joining Meghan on the judge’s panel, this is Michael’s first year as a WebAward judge.
