Beacham Moves Into New Building, Doubling Office Space

ATLANTA – (Feb. 18, 2008) – Riding the crest of Buckhead’s strong luxury home market, Beacham & Company, REALTORS® doubled its office-space commitment this month, moving into 7,815 square feet in the newly constructed Medici building at The Piazza at Paces on Northside Parkway. The new Beacham office can accommodate more than 40 full-time agents along with nearly a dozen support staff. The space is on the ground floor, occupying the building’s most prominent position on the southeast corner across from The Borghese luxury condominiums. The interior design of the office is the product of Beacham & Company founder Glennis Beacham’s unique vision of a very open, light-filled space. The office features nearly 30-foot ceilings painted light blue like a clear afternoon sky. All metal ductwork is exposed, giving the space the hint of an industrial loft. Every private office features glass partitions, allowing natural light from the building’s 18-foot tall palladium windows to fill the space.Beacham said her vision behind the openness of the company’s new office was driven by what motivates and inspires her – the contagious excitement generated by the sights and sounds of other agents consummating deals.“Most good sales people I have ever known require an exciting, high-energy environment,” Beacham said. “When we designed this office space, I wanted our agents to see and feel the excitement of things happening around them. With our recent sales activity, we’ve had plenty of opportunities to celebrate together so we can say firsthand how pleased we are with the way the space turned out.”The architectural design of the Beacham space was handled by Leonard Design Group of Fayetteville. Humphries and Company of Atlanta was the general contractor. Anne Williams of Buckhead was responsible for the interior decorating.Situated on Northside Parkway near the intersection of West Paces Ferry Road and I-75, The Piazza at Paces is a multi-phase, mixed-use development highlighted by its Old World architecture. The Medici represents Phase II of the project, which also includes The Borghese luxury condominiums and The Forum office building, which is home to award-winning Joel’s restaurant. The Arthur M. Blank Family Office Building serves as the focal point for the project.Beacham & Company is a boutique real estate company specializing in Atlanta luxury real estate. The company was founded in 2006 by Glennis Beacham, one of Atlanta’s most celebrated real estate agents over the last 15 years. At $1.6 million, the company has the highest average sales price of any general brokerage company in Atlanta and is the market share leader by dollar volume in homes sold for more than $2.5 million in Buckhead.
