SCOTTSDALE, AZ - The Kids in Focus event was held at Create at Arizona Science Center on Friday, April 7th. This event was the culmination of a project several months in the making. Thirty children were mentored by professional photographers, given cameras and taken on field trips each week where they were able to explore the world around them.
Many of the kids were shy & withdrawn but changed and blossomed with the opportunity to see and experience new things. The event gave the kids the opportunity to show their work and all of their accomplishments during the project. The exhibit is open from April 8 – June 11 in the Create Science Center atrium.
