SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Bay Area Reporter has just announced its LGBTQ Best of the Bay awards for 2017. Zephyr Real Estate agent Michael Ackerman has been named Best Realtor in the 7th annual readers’ choice poll.
Ackerman, who partners with Oliver Burgelman at Zephyr’s Noe Valley office, is well known for his impeccable ethics and fair negotiations. He is a consistent Top Producer and has been with Zephyr for nearly 20 years.

The BAR’s annual readers' poll is a way for readers to endorse and support LBGT-friendly people, places and things they like in the Bay Area. Categories include arts and culture, nightlife, dining, community and more. New categories this year were best ice cream/frozen yogurt, best choral group and best gym.

Voting was open from February 2 through March 2, and winners were honored and celebrated at the BAR Besties party at Oasis on April 6. The Besties is not a formal awards show. Rather, winners and finalists read the special Besties edition of the Bay Area Reporter to find out who won, and then join the party and entertainment.
