1488910493MIDDLETOWN, NJ - Resources Real Estate recognized several sales associates for their remarkable achievements during the month of January. The awards were announced during the company meeting on February 1st at the Navesink Country Club.

Sales Associate Kathryn Ward Grabowy, who works in the Rumson office, was named Agent of the Month. This award is given to an agent in recognition of his or her sales success in the previous month including new listings, recent contracts and sold transactions, as well as past client recognition of their efforts, and other business-building activity. Kathy’s successes for the month of January included four closed transactions totaling $3,049,000, three new listings, and two pending contracts.

Kathy’s closings included the sale of the magnificent Rumson home at 3 Pond Road for $2,565,500, which granted her an additional recognition - the Significant Sale Award

“Kathy helped us start the year on the right foot,” said Carolynn Ozar-Diakon, Senior Partner and Broker. “Just last month she was honored with the Silver NJAR Circle of Excellence Sales award. By taking good care of her clients, Kathy continues to be a shining example of our company philosophy and her sales have grown because of it.”

The Top Listing Agent Award honors the agent with the most new listings for a given month. For January, the recipient was Helen George from the Monmouth Beach office, for five new listings including several at the new Sunset Villas at Kelly’s Landing, a new community of 17 luxury waterfront townhomes in North Long Branch.

Additionally, Helen shared the Rainmaker award with her son and sales associate William George, also from the Monmouth Beach office. The Rainmaker award recognizes the efforts of agents to build their business in an innovative or otherwise significant way. The mother and son team employed new social media tools including Facebook Live to help promote the Sunset Villas community as well as an open house that took place at the property.

The Perseverance Award was presented to Carly York from the Atlantic Highlands office, an honor given to an agent who closes a transaction despite great challenges. Carly helped to resolve multiple issues surrounding a series of related transactions, thereby ensuring the successful outcome for her clients.

With several property listings topping $1million each, Patrice Cicalese-Carden from the Monmouth Beach office was named Featured Luxury Agent for the month and will be featured on LuxuryRealEstate.com.

Lastly, Beth Alpaugh from the Rumson office received the Team Spirit Award, given to a sales associate who extends him or herself to help colleagues and office staff. Beth supported another Resources’ agent, who had taken ill, by assisting with a walk-through and closing for a client of that agent and ensuring that the client was comfortable in the final stages of the transaction. Beth was acknowledged for her commitment to help her colleagues, as well as her continued support of the company events, both admirable and deeply appreciated

“We look forward to a 2017 filled with productivity, team spirit and solidarity,” said Thomas McCormack, Managing Partner and Broker. “Our sales associates are our best asset and nurturing them enables us to support our clients in the best way we can.”
