The evening concerts will be performed on Thursday, Jan. 24 and Friday, Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the historic Golden Gate Club in the Presidio of San Francisco. The event is presented to the public at no charge; seating is limited so reservations are highly recommended.San Francisco Conservatory of Music pianist Franky Leung, Jr., explores the tension, turmoil, hope and majesty that inform the Liebestod, the timeless operatic passage transcribed by Liszt from Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde. Evoking a different but no less complex mood, Conservatory pianist Lo-An Lin performs the ethereal Polonaise-Fantasie of Frédéric Chopin and the impressionistic yet intense Sonata-Fantasy of Alexander Scriabin.
