SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA – Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty is pleased to announce the addition of real estate broker, Ellen Camacho, to their leadership team as the new Managing Broker of their South Lake Tahoe and Heavenly Village offices. “Ellen is a delightful addition to our team,” says at Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty President, Peter Strand. “Ellen is extremely knowledgeable, respected and highly involved in the real estate community. Ellen has served as the 2013 Secretary / Treasurer for the South Tahoe Board of Realtors, 2014 Vice President, 2015 President Elect, and is currently the 2016 President of the Board. Additionally, she has been honored by the South Tahoe Association of Realtors with 2012 Rookie of the Year, the 2014 Community Service Award and the 2015 Distinguished Realtor Award.
Camacho’s resume is extended through active involvement with the California Association of Realtors. “Serving as Director for CAR for the past four years has awarded me the opportunity to attend the three state conferences each year,” she explains. “I serve on Membership and Forum on Forms for CAR and 2017 Vice Chair of Credentials. I also actively attended the National Association of Realtors conferences.”
Ellen believes strongly in continuing education and the importance of staying on top of current trends. She holds the designations of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate Real Estate Institute (GRI), Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS), ePRO, and South Tahoe Area Residential Specialist (STAR). “I strive to keep my clients informed throughout their real estate transaction and pride myself on being a full-time agent who can be reached day or night.”
Camacho is proud to have served on the board of Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe for six years and served as President in 2010. She has also served as a member of the parish council at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church since 2008.
