It is important that we all make a positive difference in our community,” said Nick Lavrov, a broker with APR’s Montclair office. He emphasized that there continues to be greater demand for children&rsqo;s coats. After collecting the winter coats, APR will donate them to East Oakland Community Project, Bay Area Rescue Mission, (Richmond), Project Pride-Women’s & Children’s Shelter and East Bay Community Recovery Project. For further information about the Alain Pinel Realtors One Warm Coat drive, please call Kate Castle at 510-899-8007, Nick Lavrov at 510-899-8034 or the main Montclair office of Alain Pinel Realtors at 510.899.8000.ABOUT ONE WARM COATA national organization, One Warm Coat was started in 1992 by Lois Pavlow, a concerned citizen of San Francisco, who found herself with a coat that she wished to donate to a person truly in need of a warm coat for the winter. Lois did not want to have the coat pass through an agency where a person would pay for the coat—she wanted it provided free. The organization’s dream is that One Warm Coat becomes a part of the American lifestyle. When a coat is no longer needed, people will think of One Warm Coat. They will make their donation knowing that children, women and men in need will receive a gift of a warm coat.
