1465848906COLD SPRING HARBOR, NY - Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, one of the nation’s leading realtors, participated in the 2016 Real Trends Gathering of Eagles in Dallas, TX earlier this spring. This invitation-only event brings together top brokers and real estate leaders nationwide. This year, the conference explored lessons learned on “Passing the Torch of Leadership.”  Attending on behalf of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s were Deirdre O’Connell, General Sales Manager, Deb Hauser, Regional Manager, and James P. Retz, SVP Marketing & Technology.

In the days preceding the conference, industry leaders from a select group of major companies shared market trends and Best Practices in non-competing markets.  Conference sessions focused on recruitment of talent, talent vs. technology, building agent leadership and succeeding an iconic founder, among other things. Former Southwest Airlines CEO Dave Ridley and Fortune Magazine’s Senior Editor-at-Large and author Geoff Colvin were keynote speakers.

Daniel Gale Sotheby’s attendees O’Connell, Hauser, and Retz were able to share some of the highlights of the Dallas conferences immediately upon their return at Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty’s monthly manager’s meeting.

“While a real estate organization is comprised of many individuals working independently, the core values, culture, reputation and leadership of the organization exert an extraordinary influence on the success of the agent and organization as a whole,” said Ms. O’Connell.   “Individual development and accomplishments are heightened with the support of the group.”
