1463431178SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Russ Lyon|Sotheby’s International Realty agents not only list Arizona’s most luxurious properties, but also the state’s most expensive. The company is proud to announce that it was recently involved in the second priciest home sale in Arizona history.

Listed by agent Bob Hassett, this 25,000-square-foot mansion located in North Scottsdale sold for $13,700,000. This is not the first time that Hassett has played a role in Arizona real estate history. In 2008, Hassett sold a $14,000,000 10,000-square-foot mansion in Paradise Valley, which was the most expensive home sale in Arizona history

“Bob joined our company 30 years ago and his first sale was a $19,000 condominium. Both he and Russ Lyon|Sotheby's International Realty have come a long way in the last 30 years,” said Jim Lyon, Chairman of Russ Lyon|Sotheby’s International Realty. “Due to his skill and commitment to working hard for clients, he will continue to play a part in making Arizona real estate history.”

The mansion sits on seven acres in one of the city’s most desirable gated communities, Canyon Heights, south of Pinnacle Peak and within view of the McDowell Mountains. Driving up to the front entrance to the home, a large water fountain greets the home’s owner and visitors. Designed in a Tuscan style with impeccable attention to detail, the estate has 9 bedroom suites, all which have a private patio or balcony. An in-home movie theater affords home owners a perfect location to unwind. Outside the home, terraced walkways overlook a large pool with dual diving boards.

Adjacent to the home is a two-story exercise building that offers a racquetball court, an Olympic-sized pool, tennis court, and a spa facility.

“No detail has been spared in the construction of this home and it truly is magnificent,” said Hassett. “It’s no surprise that it sold for nearly $14,000,000 and was the second priciest home sale in Arizona real estate history. The home’s new owners will enjoy living in luxury and opulence for years to come.”
