SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Zephyr Real Estate’s Katharine Holland is on a roll of good fortune as her marketing acumen continues to earn awards. Holland along with Travis Bernard won Outstanding Online Video from the Web Marketing Association and its annual Internet Advertising Competition. Their video, Corgi Realtor, presents a property tour led by, of course, the Corgi Realtor from his unique perspective.
The IAC Awards cover 96 industries and nine online formats to highlight the best online advertising across the country. Founded in 1997, the Web Marketing Association has set the bar for excellence in Internet marketing and web development. The Award program was created to recognize outstanding online advertising in all its various forms.
Just last week, Holland won the Bay Area Reporter’s 2016 Besties Award for Best Realtor in San Francisco. The B.A.R.’s sixth annual readers' poll included nominees in seven categories: arts and entertainment, community, nightlife, restaurants, services and shopping, sex, and weddings and destinations. Voting began on January 28 and concluded on March 2.
Holland recently received high praise from Placester, for their innovative, creative and savvy marketing techniques, particularly for the property videos on her website at www.katharineholland.com and on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1F8A_4nOGas.
Placester hailed the Corgi Realtor (and another of Holland’s neighborhood videos from a bicyclist’s viewpoint) as the Best Real Estate Marketing Plays from 2015 and declared them to “epitomize real estate marketing creativity and high production value.” Placester, founded in 2010 by Matt Barba and Frederick Townes, was created to assist real estate professionals in building an effective, value-laden, first-class online presence.
"After 14 years in business, I decided it was time to take a risk. I asked the videographer to throw out anything he knew about a real estate video and to be off-the-charts creative,” commented Holland. “The team of Bryan Ray and Christopher Chandler did just that. They completed the video with a budget of $1,000, shooting it one day and editing and turning it around within 24 hours. The crew was given complete artistic freedom. No edits were made.”
It should be noted that many of the competing videos had budgets up to $50,000. Holland gives full credit to the team:
