1461354177ZEPHYR COVE, NV – In an ever-evolving marketplace, Chase International continues to be a trend-setter when it comes to real estate company culture.  In a move that comes from the top, filtering down through all aspects of the firm’s endeavors, Chase International has embraced the practice of mindful leadership to best serve their agents, clients and community.

All Chase Realtors are encouraged to integrate the practice of mindfulness and the concept of compassionate, heartfelt leadership into their practical everyday interactions, thus helping to enhance effective communication, sharpen strategic planning, improve time management and develop better listening and people skills.

“Mindful leadership gives us concrete strategies to increase our focus and our creativity, as well has how to lead with compassion,” said Craig King, Chase’s chief operations officer. “Through our mindful leadership practice, we anticipate that Chase can continue to attract the best talent in the industry – those that want a healthy, happy and successful environment to work in.”

“Chase International’s visionary leadership approach differentiates our organization from other firms in the region,” said Eric Crosby, Chase’s Reno sales manager.

Compassionate leadership is a concept pioneered by Janice Marturano, founder and executive director of the Institute of Mindful Leadership.  Marturano was previously a senior executive at General Mills where she helped the company earn a number one ranking among American businesses for executive training.

Shari Chase, founder of Chase International, who leads by example, has long been a proponent of embracing a compassionate, heart-centered real estate philosophy.  Therefore, she has found a great match in the mindful leadership business model.

To develop the concept, Chase International hosted a leadership training for their corporate leaders, office branch managers, brokers and select outside vendors which was taught by two nationally recognized pioneers in mindful leadership training, Marianne Johnson and Carol Hyman.  Additionally, all new, incoming Chase agents receive mindful leadership training where they are encouraged to embrace the concepts of living fully with joy, health and success.

“After participating in the Mindful Leadership workshop, I went home feeling energized, invigorated and empowered,” Crosby said. “The two day retreat taught our group the core values of compassion, clarity and how to become more creative leaders. What we took away is invaluable. I truly learned the importance of listening with my eyes, not just my ears.”
