Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty to be Honored at My Sisters’ Place Annual Spring Benefit
Posted by Pati Holmes — March 28, 2016
RYE, NY – Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty recently announced that the firm will be honored by the Westchester County-based non-profit My Sisters’ Place, during its annual spring benefit entitled “Still Behind Closed Doors.” The event is set to take place on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 6:30 PM at the Ritz Carlton in White Plains, N.Y., and will recognize the company’s continued support of the organization’s mission to end domestic violence and human trafficking.
Since 1976, My Sisters’ Place has worked to end violence in intimate relationships and provide support for those affected by domestic violence and human trafficking including women, men and children throughout all of Westchester County. With very small beginnings, the local organization is now a top resource in the area, expanding its offerings to accommodate the changing times, and providing dependable advocacy, shelter, legal services and educational opportunities, as well as an overall guide to prevention. Its mission is to bring each member of society together with one common cause in mind—to end domestic violence and embrace the respect, equality and peacefulness of a healthy relationship.
Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty is a proud supporter of this mission, repeatedly engaging thousands of people through community-based events that raise awareness and significant resources for the cause. In recent years, the firm has organized “A Taste of Rye” and “A Taste of Larchmont,” community restaurant crawls that have raised nearly $100,000.
"We are incredibly proud of our partnership and committed to doing all we can to ensure safe homes for everyone in Westchester County and beyond," said Paul Breunich, President and CEO of Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s International Realty.
During the event, a silent auction will be held in support of the non-profit, and dinner and cocktails will be served. The spring benefit committee includes co-chair Susan McDonnell, an agent from the firm’s Rye brokerage, as well as Rye team members Pati Holmes, Liz Bradley and Linda Darer.
“I am honored to be a part of yet another My Sisters’ Place event,” said Pati Holmes, regional manager of the firm’s Rye brokerage. “This organization gives back so much to our beloved Westchester community, and contributing to their mission in any way possible is the least we can do in return.”
