The sale was reported by The New York Times, which reports:

The apartment offers many prewar flourishes: soaring ceilings, decorative moldings and an ornate coffered ceiling in the formal dining room.

The buyer was Kurt Simon, the global chairman of mergers and acquisitions at JPMorgan Chase, and his wife, Katherine Simon
