Consistently ranking among the top Slifer Smith and Frampton brokers year after year, the team is known for implementing innovative real estate techniques, including the use of 3D technology to highlight their properties, which helped them successfully broker over $10M dollars in real estate in 2015 alone, without buyers ever having to come to Beaver Creek.

In 2001, McHugh began working in real estate with Kenton Hopkins. By keeping customer service at the forefront of all their transactions, the team ultimately grew to lead real estate operations in Beaver Creek Resort, helping over 1,000 families discover the unsurpassed lifestyle opportunities available in Vail and Beaver Creek.

“Real estate is more than just one transaction, it’s a relationship and it’s a friendship,” said McHugh. “We understand what Beaver Creek needs to succeed in the future and are working with the Beaver Creek Homeowners Associations, The Beaver Creek Resort Company and Beaver Creek Property Owners Association.  With our resources and relationships, we can help them understand what today’s buyers are requiring so that they can smartly plan for the future.”

Specializing in the Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch markets for over twenty-five years, Kenton Hopkins moved to the Vail Valley in 1973. Joining Vail Associates Real Estate in 1986, he remained with the company’s Beaver Creek office when Vail Associates Real Estate merged with Slifer Smith & Frampton in 1994.

During his tenure at Slifer Smith and Frampton, he consistently ranked among the top five producing brokers, and has successfully transacted over $700M in sales since 1986.

Hopkins’ ability to cultivate significant, long-term client relationships has enabled him to successfully conduct hundreds of transactions in nearly every development in Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch.

Hopkins has aggressively continued his real estate education earning a Masters in Real Estate (MRE), real estate’s most advanced degree, in addition to holding the MRE, CRS, and GRI certifications.

“For me, there’s not a day that goes by without my senses being awakened by the natural beauty of this area,” said Hopkins. “To say that I fell in love with the Vail Valley is an understatement.”

Benjamin Finn came to the Vail Valley to enjoy the lifestyle opportunities that the mountains provide.  Finn began his real estate career at Slifer, Smith and Frampton, assisting real estate brokers with their sales and marketing strategies, and after demonstrating dedication and enthusiasm for real estate in the Vail Valley, he joined the team of Hopkins and McHugh in 2012.

Joining Hopkins and McHugh has allowed Ben to apply his energy for creating and developing new relationships to real estate, quickly establishing himself as an asset to the team and their customers.

“My goal is to make sure that our client’s homes receive the best exposure, to the best networks and are associated with a premium brand,” said LIV SIR broker, Benjamin Finn. “It really is an exciting opportunity to join LIV Sotheby’s International Realty.  I have been thoroughly impressed by the marketing and networking capacity that Sotheby’s International Realty has and believe it will only increase my ability to provide my customers with the best service possible”

Fitchett, Jr., managing broker, Vail, Beaver Creek, Edwards. ”We are excited about the enthusiasm they have for Resort Real Estate and the Vail Valley. They truly are innovative leaders in the development of their marketing materials so when coupled with the broad reach of LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, they will be a valuable resource for buyers and sellers.”
