Westchester Real Estate Inc. Teams Up To Fight Breast Cancer

PURCHASE, N.Y. – (Oct. 31, 2007) – A team of more than 20 walkers from the Westchester Real Estate, Inc. group gathered in Purchase on October 21, 2007 for the annual “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk. The five-mile walk held on the Manhattanville College campus raised money that will support American Cancer Society breast cancer research, education, advocacy and patient-services programs.The Westchester Real Estate team was headed by Denise Spruill of Four Seasons Real Estate Center in Mt. Vernon, and Gail Fattizzi, Executive Director of Westchester Real Estate, Inc. “Almost everyone you speak with has been touched, directly or indirectly, by the effects of breast cancer. This is an opportunity to work towards a cure, and to show our support for those women who have, or have survived, this indiscriminate disease,” Ms. Fattizzi said. The Westchester Real Estate, Inc. team was among 14,000 walkers at Manhattanville that raised almost $1.5 million for the fight against breast cancer.Westchester Real Estate, Inc. is a regional alliance of independently owned real estate companies, with 22 offices throughout the NY metro area. Walkers came from several member offices including Peter J. Riolo Real Estate in Hasting-on-Hudson, Tri-Crest Realty, Inc. in Eastchester, and Four Seasons Real Estate Center in Mt. Vernon.
