1450722468SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Zephyr Real Estate’s 25th annual San Francisco-themed calendar has just been released. This year’s edition again features different aspects that make our City so unique. This calendar showcases some of the lesser-known landmarks and monuments found in neighborhoods all over the City.

There are many famous, recognizable landmarks known all around the world: the Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, Coit Tower, and the Painted Ladies. However, there are even more that hold a special place for locals and oftentimes go unnoticed, and this year’s focus is on those, giving them their moment in the sun. From The Little Giant Gold Hydrant, credited with saving the Mission after the 1906 quake, to the Ingleside Sundial, the largest sundial in the world at the time it was built back in 1913. As with calendars, only 13 of these amazing tributes to San Francisco’s rich history are featured, but there are so many more. Everyone is invited to take some time to explore them all.

As a way of giving back to the community and to further preserve San Francisco’s vibrant history, Zephyr is making a donation to the San Francisco Museum and Historical Society for each calendar produced, which number in the thousands.

In past years, calendars themes have included movies filmed or set in San Francisco, food and drinks invented, historic pubs and bars, great writers, parklets, mosaics, street slides and stairs, and saints and scoundrels. Each month presents a photo and a brief history as well as some of the renowned properties sold by Zephyr.

“San Francisco’s history is vibrant and colorful, and the calendar is an opportunity to share that with our clients and colleagues,” commented Melody Foster, Vice President of Marketing and Web Development for Zephyr. “Clients have come to anticipate our annual calendars, curious to find what the theme will be. It's a gift we can share that lasts the whole year through.”
