SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Vanessa Gamp, agent at Zephyr Real Estate, is the current President of the Women’s Council of Realtors in San Francisco. A long-time member of this impressive organization, she was named Member of the Year in 2009 and served as Vice President of Membership in 2010 and 2011.
Gamp specializes in helping first-time homebuyers and is the local expert on SOMA and South Beach neighborhoods. Born and raised in the Sunset District, she is a seventh generation San Franciscan and her love of the Bay Area centers on the amazing variety of culinary experiences and rich theater culture.
She received her degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and brings her devotion to hospitality from that Midwestern experience. She participates in Zephyr’s meal-delivery volunteer group through Project Open Hand, and has a Thanksgiving tradition of serving dinners to families in need through the San Francisco Rotary Club.

On Friday, November 20, 11:30 am, at the Crown and Crumpet, the Council is hosting its annual Founder’s Day Tea honoring all past presidents of San Francisco Women’s Council of Realtors.
The Women’s Council of Realtors is a network of successful REALTORS®, advancing women as professionals and leaders in business, the industry and the communities they serve. Founded in the 1930s as an arm of the National Association of Real Estate Boards (the predecessor of NAR), many dedicated members have served as role models and achieved many "firsts" in the industry and in their communities.
Today Women's Council is a nationwide community of 11,000 real estate professionals who include many of the best and brightest in the business. The backbone of WCR is its network of more than 300 local and state chapters with volunteer managers trained to position their groups as a business resource in their REALTOR® communities.
