SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Hill & Co. Real Estate, San Francisco’s premier residential real estate brokerage, released its 3rd Quarter San Francisco Real Estate Report today.
Among other items, the 4-page market recap points out that the median sale price for single family homes actually fell in September, when compared to August. A decline in September is very unusual, and suggests that the market is cooling off a bit, providing better opportunities for buyers. The median sale price for condos meanwhile continued to climb.

This chart has information on the number of sales in each neighborhood, along with median sale prices, percent of change year-over-year, days on market, median price per square foot and the most expensive sale in the quarter.
