DENVER, CO – Pamela Darby, Vice President of Relocation at Kentwood Real Estate, has garnered special designations that distinguish her as one of the top relocation specialists in the country. Darby earned the Senior Global Destination Specialist (SGDS) designation through the national Relocation Directors Council, followed by the Global Relocation Professional (GRP) designation through the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World (LeadingRE).
The GDS course is new for 2015, and Darby was among the first to earn the distinction. The course helps relocation specialists create an international settling-in service program, earn new revenue streams, gain entrée into corporate relocation opportunities, and helps professionals put themselves above the crowd. Relocation professionals who hold the Global Mobility Specialist designation through the Worldwide Relocation Council automatically get advanced to the SGDS level.
The GRP modules are designed to provide comprehensive education and training on a variety of topics, including: network referral policies and procedures, managing international referrals, how to implement relocation guidelines, network resources and tools, and how to promote LeadingRE affiliation in the designee’s local market. The GRP is a three-year certification that requires completion of a network policies and procedures module and pass an exam every three years to maintain the certification.
