Zephyr Partner Matthew Borland Continues to Accumulate Industry Credentials

SAN FRANCISCO – (Oct. 2, 2007) – Matthew Borland is not one to rest on his laurels. While serving as president of the San Francisco Association of REALTORS® last year, Borland was a signatory to the groundbreaking Quattro agreement, a Multiple Listing Service data-sharing project benefiting more than 42,000 Northern California REALTORS® in 15 counties. Along with numerous accomplishments at SFAR, he also became a managing partner at Zephyr Real Estate.This year, Borland opened the firm’s sixth office in the city in the Pacific Heights neighborhood, and spearheaded the launch of the new Zephyr Premier Property division. He is also actively involved in the many new technology advancements the company continues to unroll. Borland plans to bring the first-ever open session of the prestigious Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist to San Francisco in early 2008. To qualify for this industry designation, agents must actively work the luxury marketplace and achieve success in the top 10 percent of sales in that market.At Zephyr, Borland has worked closely with Director of Technology Hud Bixler on technology initiatives, bringing an agent’s perspective to advances in company-wide tech applications. New programs that manage online inquiries, reduce the use of paper in transactions and create consumer-accessible transparent entry to the real-estate transaction are currently in development.
