1441987996DALLAS, TX – Following a 300 percent growth in sales since opening in East Dallas in 2014, Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty is opening a new, contemporary office in the heart of Lakewood.

The sales team, which has doubled in the past year, will host a grand opening Sept. 10 at the renovated site in the Wells Fargo Building, 6301 Gaston Avenue Plaza, Suite 170.

At the root of the company’s success are agents with deep market knowledge of East Dallas as well as the loyalty and trust of generations of clients, said Robbie Briggs, President and CEO of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty.

“Our agents in East Dallas are residents of its neighborhoods, from Lakewood to Forest Hills, Swiss Avenue, the M Streets, Hollywood Heights, Casa Linda, Lake Highlands and beyond,” Briggs said. “They provide lifelong knowledge of the area, combined with cutting-edge market and global exposure through Sotheby’s International Realty.”

The real estate market in Dallas is skyrocketing, with the average price for a home in Lakewood growing to $527,000. Exceptional homes, especially with views of White Rock Lake, sell for more than $1 million. Homes listed here spend an average 38 days on the market.

The new office is 5,400 square feet, triple the size of the office that opened in 2014. It features two fully appointed conference rooms to better serve clients and can accommodate 40 agents and support staff. The office, which started with 12 agents, has grown to 24 experts on East Dallas, led by sales manager Craig Sessions who has a proven track record of excellence that spans 27 years in Dallas real estate.

CEO Robbie Briggs independently owns and operates Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, with six offices in Dallas, Uptown, Lakewood, Fort Worth, Ranch and Land, The Ballpark and Southlake.
