Janette Millin Young, Chair of the Committee on Economic Development, Agriculture and Planning, extended heartfelt gratitude to Newland on behalf of the 31st Legislator of the Virgin Islands for her engagement in the forum, as well her participation and enthusiasm regarding real estate investments in the U.S. Virgin Islands. 

The primary goal of the investment forum was to make a clarion statement that the U.S. Virgin Islands is open for business, and that they have a market in which businesses want to invest. 

The panel offered fresh ideas, realistic and significant opportunities for established businesses and those contemplating locating to the Virgin Islands. The networking events were designed to foster partnerships and introduce prospective investors to their culture, cuisine and established local business and civic leaders.
