DENVER, CO – Mor Zucker, an accomplished Broker Associate and leader of Team Denver Homes at Kentwood Real Estate Cherry Creek, is sponsoring an Outdoor Family Movie Night on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. at the Denver Tennis Club in the Hilltop neighborhood. The event will benefit the Save Our Sundial project, a community-based effort to raise funds to restore the Cranmer Park Sundial & Plaza, one of Denver’s most iconic and historical landmarks.
“The Outdoor Family Movie Night featuring ET: the Extraterrestrial provides a great opportunity for families to enjoy a fun evening outdoors before it gets too cold,” said Zucker. “Tickets are only $20 per family and it benefits a great cause that is close to my heart. Every dollar raised will go to the Save Our Sundial project. So pack a picnic dinner, spread a blanket, mingle with neighbors, and enjoy free popcorn and a great movie.”

Cranmer Park is used by thousands of people enjoying the beautiful outdoors and is a regular stopping point for tour buses. The historic Sundial and Plaza was, unfortunately, built on rubble and has no firm foundation. This has caused the plaza to buckle and sag, seriously damaging the flagstone, mortar, and mosaic panorama. In addition, vandals have chipped the face of the sundial. It’s estimated that approximately $1.5 million is needed to complete the restoration.
