CHESTNUT HILL, MA - Jim Nemetz, manager of Hammond Residential Real Estate’s Chestnut Hill and Waban offices, is pleased to announce that Patrick Thomas has affiliated with Hammond. In his new role, Thomas will collaborate with buyer and seller clients from Hammond’s Chestnut Hill office located at 826 Boylston Street.
A longtime resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Thomas recently relocated to the Town of Brookline with his wife and two children. He earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas, and he also worked towards a doctorate in Clinical Psychology at 
Fielding University. Community service is important to Thomas. In addition to his involvement in numerous community projects, he has served on the Southwestern College Board of Trustees, and in many capacities for the Santa Fe Association of Realtors, including two terms serving on the board of directors and as the chairperson of various committees. He has also coached youth soccer, basketball, and Little League teams, and in his spare time he enjoys relaxing with family and friends.
Thomas is a twenty-year residential real estate veteran. By his fifth year in the industry, he achieved ranking in the top five percent of the internationally-recognized firm where he worked as an associate broker. During his two decades working in the highly-competitive Santa Fe real estate market, Thomas became the top-selling broker, both in dollar volume and number of successfully closed transactions.
As a Hammond agent, Thomas strives to provide exceptional service to his clients. He believes that his background in family therapy has guided his real estate career, as he successfully establishes client trust by assessing their needs and working collaboratively to achieve their goals.
