DENVER, CO – Kentwood Real Estate Cherry Creek hosted a Children’s Hospital Mobile Blood Drive on Friday, August 28, 2015. The mobile donation truck made it fun and easy for everyone to take a few minutes out of their day to help change lives. Broker Associates, support staff and the public were all encouraged to participate. In the end, there were thirty-two donors scheduled for the blood drive, which provided a total of 21 units of blood to help The Children’s Hospital’s meet its surgery and transfusion needs.
“I want to thank everyone who participated in The Children’s Hospital Mobile Blood Drive,” said Amy Herrington, a licensed assistant at Kentwood Real Estate Cherry Creek who was instrumental in coordinating the successful event with assistance from her colleagues. “We had so many wanting to donate that we had to turn some away. The drive was a great way to help those in need and we look forward to partnering with The Children’s Hospital again in the future. Our blood donations will help give many children a better chance at a healthy life.”

The Children’s Hospital uses 8,000 units of blood each year to transfuse into sick and injured infants, children and teens.
