The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy and Jackie Combahee of Harry Norman, REALTORS® and Modern Luxury, hosted its annual Volunteer Appreciation Event and Luau at the extraordinary Mediterranean home in the Kingswood neighborhood of Buckhead at 3575 Paces Valley Road, Atlanta, GA 30327. “We believe it is so important to show our volunteers just how much we appreciate them each year, however, with no budget to fund such an event, we couldn’t be more thankful to the sponsors who made this event possible,” Chandler said. The Georgia Center for Child Advocacy was established in 1987 as a child-focused community resource center created to minimize trauma to child victims of sexual, physical abuse, and witness to violence. The center provides on-site intervention, therapy services and prevention to child victims and their families. Since 1987, the center has served more than 14,000 children in Fulton and DeKalb Counties and has provided prevention training and education to over 66,000 adults throughout Georgia.
