Since the official Giveback Homes launch in 2013, over 350 real estate professionals signed up to create social change in their industry. To date, Giveback Homes successfully built 39 homes in Nicaragua and coordinated seven Build Days in the United States. Many of its members including brokers, real estate agents and industry leaders picked up hammers, laid down bricks and personally hugged the families who would benefit from these generous donations.

“Our goal is to empower agents and homebuyers to turn the act of buying or selling a home, into an opportunity to change lives,” said Blake Andrews, Giveback Homes Founder. “John Brian Losh is a true pioneer in luxury real estate and will now be a major catalyst for social change.”

Inspired by their work at TOMS Shoes, Giveback Homes is the first real estate social good company that builds homes for families in need, fueled by the passion of real estate professionals. Through the partnership between Giveback Homes and Habitat for Humanity, 100 percent of donations go directly to building projects in developing countries in Central America and assisting with Build Days in the United States.
