1438964660SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Climb Real Estate hosted an open house at its boutique office in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood on July 22, 2015 to promote locally-made products by member companies of SFMade, a California 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation based in San Francisco that is the only organization of its kind focused on building the city’s economic base by developing the local manufacturing sector.

“It takes a bit of extra effort to coordinate these events for the community and the vendors, but whenever we have the chance, we jump at the opportunity to bring out our Climb Airstream and let the party begin,” said Dirk Kinley, Managing Director and Senior Broker of Climb’s Mission Bay office. He added, “These events are such a great way to connect Mission Bay residents with the local vendors–you can’t beat homemade.”

Chris Lim, CEO and founder of Climb Real Estate, launched the idea to provide commercial space in Climb’s Mission Bay office in the Park Terrace condominium building for a rotating selection of SFMade vendors to display and sell their products. The event on July 22, 2015 was a celebration of a new selection of products by four SFMade member companies: Waffles & Honey Jewelry, Urban FarmGirls, 3 Fish Studios, and Etta + Billie.

“This is a great opportunity to display our products and extend our visibility to customers visiting Climb’s office,” said Alana Rivera, CEO of Etta + Billie, a crafter of artisan, sustainable, natural bath and body products. “Plus, it’s always fun to see what other SFMade companies are creating.”

The event, featuring food and drink by SFMade members Speakeasy Ales & Lagers, Cellars 33, Panorama Bakery, and Yvonne’s Southern Sweets, allowed Park Terrace residents and their neighbors to mingle with one another and get a first look at the new locally-made products on display.

“Park Terrace is very happy to have a Climb Real Estate office in our building,” said Park Terrace HOA President Terry Leeder. “Our residents thoroughly appreciate having such a convenient way to see and support SFMade vendors.”
