Silverleaf Hits Its Stride in 2015 Sales – $100+ Million in First Six Months

1438886477SCOTTSDALE, AZ – The continued strength in the luxury market in metro Phoenix is demonstrated by the strong sales activities in DMB’s exclusive residential enclave, Silverleaf.  In the first six months of the year, Silverleaf Realty has seen more than $108 million in sales of homes and homesites. 

Elevated pricing in a recovering market brought in more buyers who opted to build a custom home in the community.  Some custom lots in Silverleaf have design and covenant approvals completed, allowing buyers to streamline the building process and still add personal design touches throughout their new homes.

Silverleaf Realty was ranked in the top 15 in the Phoenix Business Journal’s Residential Real Estate Brokers List for 2014 and is on track to exceed their sales numbers from last year. 

The Village at Silverleaf, a creative collaboration of Don Ziebell-Oz Architect, and Rod Cullum of Cullum Homes, will debut their villas and cottages located adjacent to the Silverleaf Club. Cullum Homes has started to take reservations for the 19 villas and cottages in the Village.  Sales will begin in the new phase in late fall.  The final Upper Canyon estate homesites at Silverleaf sit high above the Sonoran floor, with elevations ranging from 1,700 to 2,900 feet.  Custom home lots in this secluded phase range in size from 1 acre to 15 acres and start at $695,000.    

Here are some of the highlights from the first half of 2015:

  • 17 homes closed in Silverleaf in the first half of 2015 and 25 homesites have been sold.
  • Silverleaf Realty closed a home for $7.2 million, the highest priced home sold in Silverleaf and in Scottsdale this year.
  • Silverleaf’s average sold price per square foot continues to exceed other luxury and private communities around the Valley.
  • Silverleaf Realty’s sales command a higher price per square foot than other agents - $527 vs. $425 in Silverleaf.
  • All 7 homes over $2.5 Million and all 10 homesites over $1.2 Million were closed by Silverleaf Realty in 2015.

The Silverleaf Club’s programs continue to elevate members’ experiences; and this year, the Club will be making enhancements to the Spike Bar, the Dining Room and updating the men’s and women’s locker rooms.  With a focus on wellness and vitality, the professional staff there oversees a variety of nutrition, strength, and health programs designed especially for members.  Silverleaf is also home to a private Tom Weiskopf-designed championship golf course and a 50,000 square foot private club and spa.
