SARATOSA, FL - Michael Saunders & Company has closed the colossal sale of Little Bokeelia Island in Florida for $14.5 Million. The property, off the coast of Lee County between Sarasota and Naples, encompasses 104-acres and includes a 1920s Spanish style estate home with attached guest wing, as well as a cluster of other old Florida cottages that have been restored. The island is currently only accessible via boat or helicopter.
Purchased by It Works! owner Mark Pentecost and his wife Cindy Pentecost, the island will be a personal home as well as a corporate retreat for the company. They have no intention of developing the land, which is entitled to 29 single-family homes, according to the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
Michael Saunders & Co. agents Klaus Lang and Jennifer Calenda marketed the property for sale and Victoria Stultz, also with Michael Saunders, represented the Pentecosts. For more information on luxury listings in Florida, please visit www.michaelsaunders.com.
