1437086465HOUSTON, TX - John Daugherty, Realtors is proud to welcome Henry Egan to the company. Originally from New Orleans, Henry Egan grew up in a family immersed in interior design and real estate.

Henry’s mother, an interior designer, also purchased and remodeled homes as investments, using her design skills to enhance the properties and increase their value. Henry absorbed important lessons in the art of preparing a home for sale as well as what to look for (and what to avoid) when purchasing a home.

Henry attended Loyola University in New Orleans and NROTC at Tulane University. He entered a career as an officer in the United States Navy where he served on four different ships with assignments in Norfolk, VA, Patuxent River, MD, Newport, RI, Charleston, SC, and Naples, Italy. Completing his career in the Navy, Henry and his family made their new home Houston to start a career in the corporate world. They lived in Houston for seven years and relocated as he advanced in the service industry.

His corporate career track included several upper management positions.  He was a Branch General Manager for Loomis Armore, a Director of Operations for Alliance Services and a Regional Vice President for Swanson Services.

As a Realtor, Henry applies the experience and knowledge he acquired in the Navy and his corporate career to build close business relationships with his real estate clients. He also uses his contract negotiation, and his analytical and project-management skills to manage his clients’ transactions smoothly and achieve a successful closing, “I use my business and service acumen to meet all aspects of my clients’ real estate needs and focus on every detail of the transaction. I work hard to help buyers find the right home with the right location, features, infrastructure, and lifestyle amenities. In addition to helping sellers determine the right list price for their home, I provide targeted marketing, staging advice, and ultimately, work hard to bring them the best possible sales contract.”

Henry and his wife have made Houston their home for 12 years. Their three children attended elementary, middle and high schools in Houston, and they have six grandchildren, three of whom also live in Houston. Henry serves on his neighborhood HOA and is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Serra Club.

He spends free time with his family, traveling, and volunteering for his church. Henry also enjoys hiking, biking, golfing, boating, walking their dog, and having get-togethers with friends and family.
