1433263394HERBER VALLEY, UT - Red Ledges, a premier four-season mountain recreation community in the Heber Valley, celebrated the official opening of its recently completed 14,000 square-foot clubhouse.

As the newest amenity to the Red Ledges lifestyle, the Clubhouse will offer members world class service, a fine dining restaurant and bar, luxurious locker rooms, a sports shop and casual gathering spaces for members to mingle. Located in the Club Commons next to the Swim and Fitness club, the Cliff Drysdale Tennis School, and the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, the Clubhouse will be the centerpiece of the Red Ledges experience with commanding views of Mt. Timpanogos, the iconic red ledges and the Heber Valley.

“We are thrilled with the progress here at Red Ledges,” said M. Anthony Burns, Managing Owner of Red Ledges. “To see all the new families living and creating memories here is immensely satisfying. It is our mission to continuously improve and enhance the community with new amenities. In fact, as we are here celebrating the opening of this beautiful clubhouse, we are already hard at work on our new family friendly Nicklaus Signature Short Course.”

Gov. Gary R. Herbert kicked off the evening of celebration with the official ribbon cutting ceremony. Assisting him were co-owners, Nolan Archibald and M. Anthony Burns, along with Heber City Mayor Alan McDonald, and members of the Heber City and Wasatch County Councils.

Gov. Herbert took a few moments to address the members and guests as he spoke about the economic growth and entrepreneurial spirit in the state of Utah. He then compared Archibald and Burns to the early Utah settlers who built the visionary State Capitol – they both had the foresight to build for the future.  He also commented that the state has seen a tremendous uptick in tourism for several reasons and said “world class golf is one of Utah’s new driving forces, in particular, golf at Red Ledges.”

The Clubhouse will further enhance the Red Ledges already award winning golf club experience. Red Ledges’ 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course has already received numerous accolades since its opening, including Best Golf Course in Utah for six consecutive years, the Best New Private Golf Course in the country 2009 and one of America’s Best Residential courses.
