ATLANTA, GA - Harry Norman, REALTORS® is pleased to announce the promotion of Chris Burell to Senior Vice President and Managing Broker of the Harry Norman's Intown Office.
Mr. Burell brings over 10 years of real estate and industry leadership experience to his new position. In 2005, Mr. Burell began his real estate career as a sales associate in Harry Norman's Intown office. From there, he became an instructor and recruiter for Harry Norman, REALTORS before being promoted to Director of Career Services.
Mr. Burell has been committed to education in real estate and over the years has served on the Professional Development Committees of both the Georgia Association of REALTORS® and the Atlanta Board of REALTORS® (ABR). Burell has also served as a Board of Governor for the Georgia Institute of Real Estate (GIRE) since 2010 and as the Dean of the Board of Governors for GIRE since 2013. Mr. Burell holds a Georgia associate broker license and a Georgia real estate instructor license. He is a member of the Georgia Real Estate Educators Association (GREEA) and a member of the Association of Talent Development (ATD). Mr. Burell also is independently certified and licensed as a John C. Maxwell Leadership Speaker/Instructor/Coach™.
In addition to his new role at Harry Norman, REALTORS®, Mr. Burell serves as a current Board of Director for the Atlanta Board of REALTORS®. He is a certified life coach and motivational speaker and has been a recipient of several awards including the Five Star Circle of Service Award from the Atlanta Board of REALTORS® and the Pillar of Service Award from Harry Norman, REALTORS®
Prior to coming onboard at Harry Norman, REALTORS®, Mr. Burell taught at Auburn University as a GTA for two years before having the honor of being named a United States Presidential Management Fellow. He then joined the United States Social Security Administration as a Human Resource Management Analyst, and gained extensive experience in human resources, leadership development, customer service training, and instructional delivery.
