Each year, REALTOR® Magazine determines the finalists based on a variety of factors, including stories that demonstrate business success, involvement in the community, creativity and professional leadership. Allison Goodhart was selected from nearly 400 applicants from across the country and the public voted for the final candidates as a part of the Web Choice Award contest.
Allison Goodhart grew up in the real estate business and has had the unique opportunity to spend time working in every role on her team. Over the years, she has been the receptionist, the envelope stuffer, the marketing coordinator, the listing coordinator, the buyer’s agent and now a lead agent. Goodhart, a licensed Realtor since 2005, hones her real estate skills from years of watching her parents, Sue and Marty Goodhart, set a strong example of what it takes to be successful in the real estate business, as well as learning from the entire McEnearney Associates organization. While in school at Dickson College, she also had the unique opportunity to intern for Barbara Corcoran, dubbed “New York’s Queen of Real Estate” and also a star investor featured on ABC’s hit show “Shark Tank.” “I feel blessed being mentored over the years by such wonderful real estate role models, including my parents, and I’m truly thankful to be selected by REALTOR® Magazine as one of their ’30 under 30’ honorees,” says Goodhart. “Working with The Goodhart Group and at McEnearney Associates, with all the supportive brokers and agents, empowers me with a keen sense of the market and an ability to provide the very best in real estate customer service.”
As one of two lead agents on her team, Goodhart’s job responsibilities include generating business, negotiating contracts and ensuring clients have the best experience possible, which involves being responsive and addressing any questions that may arise. “The entire team at McEnearney Associates is proud of Allison’s well-deserved recognition by REALTOR® Magazine. Goodhart was born and raised in Alexandria and currently resides in Old Town. She and the rest of The Goodhart Group team sponsor various charity events every year for organizations such as The Center for Alexandria’s Children, Alexandria Symphony Orchestra and St. Coletta of Greater Washington. In addition, Goodhart enjoys volunteering with The Fund for Alexandria’s Child, on which Goodhart is a co-chair of the advisory council, and is a Junior Friend of the Campagna Center, where she co-chaired the Heather & Greens Sale as part of the Scottish Christmas Walk Weekend, one of Alexandria’s major annual events.
