Lori Castillo Planos

Lori is a graduate of Stanford University with a B.A. in Communications, while also a member of Stanford's Women's Golf Team, with All American Honorable Mention honors.

At Sakamoto Properties, Lori has brought energy, sales experience, and a commitment to the type of service that defines the company.  The newest member of the Sakamoto Team has a long history and is highly respected in the golfing world.  Lori was born into Hawaii's best known golfing family...The Castillo's, and was known to have been the top junior and amateur golfer of all time.

Lori was the first female and one of only three golfers in the world to hold two United States Golf Association (USGA) national titles concurrently.  The other golfers to accomplish this feat were Bobby Jones, Chick Evans and Jack Nicklaus.  The winner of the USGA Girls' Junior (1978), USGA Women's Amateur Public Links (1979) (1980), Lori was also named to the 1980 Curtis Cup Team Matches for the United States of America.

Later, Lori enjoyed success on both the Asian and European Professional Tours before returning to her home state of Hawaii. She long continued her interest and ties in the golf industry most recently as a manufacturer's sales representative. When presented with an opportunity by the Sakamotos, Lori was enticed with the challenge of the real estate business and joined the team. Her intrinsic knowledge of Hawaii has given her immediate success.
