CHARLESTOWN, MA - Nora Moran, manager of Hammond Residential Real Estate in Charlestown, is pleased to announce that Chris Remmes has joined Hammond’s Boston team and will be based out of Hammond’s Charlestown office location at 105 Main Street in the historic Warren Tavern building.
A New England native who was raised in Milton, Remmes graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 1987, where he earned a degree in Marine Transportation. Since moving to Charlestown in 1992, Remmes has been an active community member through his involvement in local political campaigns, including serving as the Chair of the Democratic Ward Committee. Additionally, Remmes has also volunteered as a tutor at the local Boys and Girls Club, and he also participates in the Dog Owners’ Group. In his free time, Remmes enjoys skiing and traveling.
Prior to his career in real estate, Remmes worked as a Deck Officer for Exxon, where he sailed around the world and satisfied his passion for travel and adventure. While at Exxon, he was selected to work on special assignments that focused on the development of technology solutions for the maritime industry. His intuition and skills and were widely-recognized at the company, establishing him as a leader.
Remmes’ career in real estate began in 1998 when he worked in the mortgage lending industry. Since then, he has built an excellent reputation and a loyal client base by providing exceptional client service. He brings with him, a professional approach to all aspects of his real estate practice.
