COLD SPRING HARBOR, NY - Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, one of the nation’s leading realtors, recently celebrated the accomplishments of its top producing agents over dinner at Riverpark, the critically acclaimed Manhattan culinary destination on the East River. Patricia Petersen, President and CEO of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, hosted the evening. Agents were recognized in many categories including Unit Leaders, Listing Leaders and Production Leaders-- representing closed business transactions in 2014.
“Our annual President’s Dinner is simply a marvelous event that celebrates the hard work, extraordinary professionalism and ingenuity of our top producing agents,” said Ms. Petersen. “While we honor a select few at the President’s Dinner, I also acknowledge the hard work and commitment to professionalism that is a hallmark of the entire Daniel Gale Sotheby’s organization.”
Janet Markarian, who works out of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s Greenport office, was honored as the Production Leader for 2014, and placed second among the Listing and Unit leaders. She is a member of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s Gold Circle of Excellence. A Long Island native, Janet earned a MFA in textile design, holding positions at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago, The Victoria and Albert Museum in London and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She lived in Hong Kong and Mainland China, where she designed and manufactured her own line of textiles. Returning to the States, Janet moved to Orient and opened the Orient Linen Company.

Today she excels at matching people and properties.
Marilyn Jenney, of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s Sea Cliff office, is another high achiever who has led the organization in sales many times, in 2014 earning third place in both Unit and Listing Leader designations. In 2013 Marilyn earned the Top Unit Leader designation. She is a longtime member of the Gold Circle of Excellence.
Cold Spring Harbor’s Laura Zambratto earned second place as a top Production Leader. Laura is a Gold Circle of Excellence member and has consistently excelled in a competitive and challenging market, regularly ranking among the agency’s top producers.
