Larry Hotz of Kentwood Real Estate Featured on CNBC Denver Real Estate Market Report

1423764185GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO – Larry Hotz, an accomplished real estate professional and lead broker of the Hotz Real Estate Team with Kentwood Real Estate-DTC, recently appeared on the CNBC Denver Real Estate Market Report as the network’s preferred expert on the Denver area market. Hotz, who has been interviewed several times for CNBC’s Power House segment, was featured on the program’s January 29th broadcast at 11:40am.

1423764320CNBC host and broadcaster Tyler Mathisen asked Hotz about the state of the Denver area real estate market. Hotz noted that inventory is in short supply at 4,659 homes on the market and that prices are currently rising as a result. Hotz reported that the average sales price is currently $270,810, with the average days on the market at 40. Three of Kentwood’s listings in Castle Rock were also featured on the show, at prices ranging from $474,700 to $1,190,000, including a “storybook cottage” and a beautiful horse property with 35 acres.      

Hotz, who studied television and film while working his way through the University of Denver as a DJ and radio newscaster, is also a noted relocation expert. He is knowledgeable about metro Denver’s most historic and desirable neighborhoods. Hotz has helped major companies relocate key personnel, including Xerox, PepsiCo, the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, and Pfizer. He is a former director of the Denver Board of Realtors and former President of the Cherry Hills Heights Water and Sanitation Board. 

Hotz is recognized annually by the Denver Board of Realtors (now the Denver Metro Association of Realtors) as one of the region’s top brokers. He holds several special designations recognizing the successful completion of stringent continuing education courses in real estate. Hotz has been selling real estate since 1978 and has taught continuing education classes as a Senior Faculty Member of the Colorado Association of Realtors and the Colorado Real Estate Commission
