After a ten-plus year partnership with Better Homes & Gardens, managing Broker Alan Heoney says, “Our team is looking forward to engaging with a brand that is acknowledged in so many important resort marketplaces. Sierra Sotheby's has a unique understanding of mountain resort real estate evidenced by their defined marketing programs.” Heoney adds “The Sierra Sotheby’s brand also provides a localized business structure that exhibits a strong management platform along with a keen understanding of the unique challenges for real estate associates working in the vacation home environment and endeavors to provide their agents with the best and most competitive tools to allow them to compete solidly in this resort real estate market.”
Jeff Hamilton, Sierra Sotheby’s Vice President of North Tahoe Operations, will take on the new role of managing Broker for the Tahoe City and Truckee offices, with Bob Wheeler accepting the role for those agents joining the Incline Village office. Heoney, will continue to remain an integral part of the Tahoe City office with a core focus on maintaining agent and client relationships.
In May 2014 Sierra Sotheby’s International realty acquired the Tahoe Donner office of Boice O’Neal Realty, which extended the brand’s reach into Truckee. The Better Homes & Gardens acquisition, will add to Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty’s existing collection of convenient locations to now include nine offices throughout North Lake Tahoe, South Lake Tahoe and Truckee. The newest office additions will include a lakefront location at the Lighthouse Shopping Center in Tahoe City and Downtown Truckee.
“I am very excited to welcome, and have the privilege of working with Alan Heoney, the sales associates and employees from Better Homes & Gardens,” says Sierra Sotheby’s President Peter Strand. The team will now be able to leverage the power of the Sotheby’s Realty brand and the unique marketing tools we offer to provide home sellers the best marketing available alongside our worldwide reach with qualified buyers. This combination of companies provides Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty another step toward offering our services across the entire Lake Tahoe region,” Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty President, Peter Strand said.
With their sister companies, Summit Sotheby’s in Park City, and LIV Sotheby’s in Colorado (formerly Fuller Sotheby’s), Sierra Sotheby’s offers a unique relationship with agents, buyers and sellers in similar resort markets which has played well into their ability to artfully match sophisticated clients with extraordinary properties throughout the Lake Tahoe Region and beyond.
