Prudential Douglas Elliman Agent Dolly Lenz Wins Top Real Estate Prize

March 21, 2005 - New York -- A New York residential broker has taken home the award as the country's top producer for real estate giant Prudential and its affiliates. Dolly Lenz, the managing director and executive vice president at upscale Douglas Elliman, received the award yesterday at Prudential's annual real estate conference in Las Vegas. She brought in more than $6 million in gross commissions - a record in 2004. "It's quite an honor to receive this award, especially in such a competitive market," Lenz told The Post. Prudential also topped the charts at a record $185 billion in sales. Lenz, whose high-profile clients include actors, musicians, business leaders and socialites, is among 59,000 registered agents at the company. She has also consistently ranked among the top in her field among all real estate brokerage firms. "Usually, it's someone from California who wins the award, so this really is a great achievment for Dolly and us," said Douglas Elliman partner Howard Lorber. So far, Lenz is on track to win next years' award with recent closings that include "Burnt Point," an estate in the Hamptons that sold for $45 million.
