Throughout his career, Nick’s excellent communication skills, customer service skills coupled with his knowledge of lending, have attributed to his success. Mathe is a graduate of Occidental College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Nick’s previous experience includes, construction, being a Vice President in the reverse mortgage division of Bank of America, Manager for Grammy Award winning Rickie Lee Jones and was also an All-American Swimmer.
An Alameda resident, husband and proud father of 6 girls, Nick has an affinity for people and proudly assists the community by volunteering and/or donating with the Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, United Way, Save the Bay and other various charities whenever he can. As a reward for his volunteerism, Nick threw out the first ball for the Giants in May of 2010. Nick also enjoys hiking, collecting gems & fossils, swimming, reading and sports of all kinds.
