Hammond Residential Reports Highest Priced Sales of 3rd Quarter

The highest-priced single-family residence sale of the quarter was a property located 235 Warren Street in Brookline, which sold for $4,300,000; Eileen Strong O’Boy represented the seller client in the transaction. Designed and built in 1987 in the fashionable Colonial Revival-style, 235 Warren Street sits on over one acre and was created to be a gracious and substantial property, overlooking a gentle sweep of lawns. (MLSPIN), was also the highest-priced sale in the Newton Center area to date in 2014. This property overlooks Crystal Lake and features thirteen rooms, five bedrooms and four-and-one-half bathrooms. The highest priced buyer-side condominium transaction for Hammond in the quarter was 88 Beacon Street #3, Boston, which sold for $6,500,000. Senior Associates John Ranco and Joe DeAngelo of Hammond’s South End office represented the buyer of the property. Prominently situated overlooking the Boston Public Garden, 88 Beacon Street #3 is located in an intimate Classic Revival historical building.
