INCLINE VILLAGE, NV – Chase International Real Estate is pleased to announce its continuing partnership with the Nevada Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America in an important food drive to help the North Tahoe region’s neediest families, aptly named Scouting for Food. Door hangers will be left on area home door knobs by local boy scouts on Sat., Nov. 1 alerting residents to the planned food collection. The scouts will return to pick up requested food items on Saturday, Nov. 8 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. All donated food will be distributed to local food banks throughout the region through Project MANA in an effort to gear up for Thanksgiving holiday needs.
If residents miss the pick up time for the planned Scouting for Food campaign, items can be dropped off at Chase International office, 917 Tahoe Blvd., Suite 100 in Incline Village.
Food items needed include canned meat, canned fish, nuts, peanut butter, dry pasta, powdered milk, baby formula, baby food, stews, soup, ravioli, chili, canned fruits, canned juice, oatmeal, rice, and any other non-perishable, non-frozen, food (no glass containers please).
“Chase has a number of agents who have been profoundly influenced by their involvement in scouting,” said Chase International agent Debbie Hansen, who is spearheading Chase’s partnership with area Boy Scouts for the ninth year in a row.
