Jack Cotton Publishes Book in Remembrance of "Moose"

Hyannis, MA (2005) The black Chevy Tahoe sped down the highway, testing the upper boundaries of the speed limit. The mood inside the car was somber. Moose, a Boykin Spaniel, was stretched out on a blanket in the way back of the car. His eyes were glassy, his coat dull and his breathing was slow and labored. Just hours earlier, the local Vet had called to say that Moose needed to get to a larger facility right away...

Moose was a very special pet dog to Jack and his children. To celebrate the memory of Moose's life, Jack Cotton wrote a small book of life lessons for his children that were inspired by Moose. A friend passed a copy to Tide-mark Press, who decided to illustrate and publish the book so that Moose's lessons, both large and small, could be shared with all.

The result is a beautifully illustrated book that will be enjoyed by children of all ages. A Dog's Guide to Life: Lessons from "Moose" will be available in April 2005. Pre-orders can be made at Amazon.com or your local bookstore.
