Chase International and Cub Scouts Team Up for Food Drive

(LAKE TAHOE, Nevada ) – Chase International, the leader in luxury real estate and headquartered in Lake Tahoe, has teamed up with the Incline Village Cub Scouts to collect non-perishables for Project MANA (Making Adequate Nutrition Accessible), the hunger relief organization serving North Lake Tahoe and Truckee.“Chase International continues to be a partner of area non-profit organizations and a champion of local causes,” Diane Brown, of Chase International’s Incline Village office, said. “Teaming up with the Incline Village Cub Scouts is a perfect opportunity to add a new element to the company’s giving.”Area cub scouts, part of the annual Scouting for Food program, will leave door hangers on Incline Village homes early next week about how to donate. The scouts will be back to collect the food items, donated in plastic or paper bags and left on porches, Saturday, March 31. Items needed include canned meat and fish, nuts, peanut butter, dry pasta, powdered milk, baby formula, baby food, stews and soups, chili, canned fruits and juice, oatmeal, rice and other non-perishables, non-frozen items.Participants can also drop off donated items at the Chase International Incline Village office located at 917 Tahoe Boulevard, Suite100 from March 24-31.Philanthropist Alan Feinstein, who annually donates to hunger relief organizations throughout the country, will provide a matching financial contribution to every pound of food donated via the Incline Village Scouting for Food program.Chase International is involved with a number of community clubs and organizations, including the American Heart Association, Barton Memorial Hospital Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe, Incline Booster Club, Junior League of Reno, Nevada Rock Art Foundation, Reno Philharmonic, South Lake Tahoe Women’s Center, Tahoe Rim Trail Association, Zephyr Cove Parents Club and more.Founded in 1986, Chase International is an exclusive member of Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate and Leading Estates of the World, as well as the Artisan Group, comprised of the Bay Area’s top firms.
