Marianne grew up in Minnesota and moved to Washington, D.C. in 1978, where she graduated from George Washington University with a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning. Prior to launching her residential real estate career, Marianne worked as a consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington, D.C., New York and Paris. Marianne also instituted the first Luxury Homes Magazine in the Washington metropolitan area while working for a publishing company.

Bill Prendergast manages business development and client relations for The Prendergast Team alongside his wife Marianne. He grew up in Annapolis, Maryland and is a graduate of Washington College in Chestertown. Prior to joining forces with his wife in residential real estate, Bill served three years in the U.S. Army and later worked on Capitol Hill, serving the Environmental Protection Agency and the Federal Communications Commission as a Presidential appointee.

Will Prendergast was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area and joined the residential real estate business in 2011. He graduated from James Madison University where he double majored in International Business and Spanish. Upon graduation, Will worked with Smith Barney in Bethesda, after which he worked in Argentina with an NGO.

Prior to joining The Prendergast Team in 2011, Clare Shumaker spent 11 years in sales with Nestle USA. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business with a double major in Marketing and Management. Clare developed a profound passion for real estate when spending time custom-building two personal residences.

Lynda Stewart has been with The Prendergast Team since 2007, bringing over 30 years of experience in marketing, sales and business development in the IT and real estate industries. She was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area and has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
